Samuel L. Jackson Gears Up for Captain Marvel by Channeling Jules from Pulp Fiction

We know that Captain Marvel will be a period piece set in the 90s, and Samuel L. Jackson will be back to portray a younger Nick Fury. What's amazing is, it looks like he'll be channeling Jules from Pulp Fiction, as a recent post has Jackson teasing his work on the film.

Check this out:

It's funny that Captain Marvel is set in the 90s as Jackson's work on Pulp Fiction was what cemented him as a pop culture icon to this day. Captain America: The Winter Soldier already teased Jules with ‘Ezekiel 25:17' on Fury's tombstone, I wonder if they want to reference the character a bit more with this upcoming film. Is it too much to ask for young Fury to have an afro?

We don't know yet the extent of Fury's involvement in the film, but we do know that we'll be getting a better look at the 90s era SHIELD. Besides Jackson, Clark Gregg will also be making a return as Agent Phil Coulson in the MCU. We know that the character is alive and well in Marvel's TV universe, but any fan knows that the movies are ignoring whatever happens on those shows.

Captain Marvel is set to hit theaters March 8, 2019.
