Following the show’s premiere two weeks ago, Crunchyroll announced the Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence English dub cast and release date.
This is the next show in Crunchyroll’s expansive dubbed anime lineup for the season, and it’s a treat for anime dub watchers as new episodes will be released just two weeks behind the Japanese broadcast.
Much like the recent dub announcements, the Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence dub is composed of several notable English language VAs who have played roles in a wide range of shows.
Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence English Dub Cast Announced
Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence is a fantasy romantic-comedy anime by Doga Kobo, the studio behind Oshi no Ko. It is based on the manga of the same name, and it premiered on July 23.
The show’s Japanese version stars newcomer Hime Sawada as Saint Cecilia, and she is joined by veteran anime VAs such as Kaito Ishikawa (Genos in One-Punch Man) and Haruka Tomatsu (Asuna in Sword Art Online).
For the English dub, Crunchyroll also selected some experienced voice actors. The main cast includes:
- Hannah Alyea (Aoi Inuyama in Laid-Back Camp) as Saint Cecilia
- Josh Bangle (Foien Li in Fire Force) as Pastor Lawrence
- Erin Lundquist (Misaki's Mother in Dead Mount Death Play) as Rebecca
- Kent Williams (Mr. Compress in My Hero Academia) as Grandpa
- Katelyn Barr (Nikki Hanada in Dr. Stone) as Lawrence (Young)
- Liz Laurenti as Lily
- Nazia Chaudhry (Misaki Tanabe in Wonder Egg Priority) as Lily's Mom

Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence Gets Official English Dub Release Date
Though it may not be as hyped as the big shows of Summer 23 like Jujutsu Kaisen and Mushoku Tensei, Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence is sure to catch the attention of fans that are looking for a light and fun romance title.
The series follows Lawrence, a pastor who is tasked to care for a church as well as for Cecilia, a young girl who is tasked to be the “Saint” of their village.
In this world, the Saint is tasked with becoming a symbol of good morals, and someone that advises the townsfolk. But it turns out that Cecilia has a lazy streak.
Instead of being strict, Lawrence dotes on Cecilia. Soon, the friendship between the two deepens and feelings start to develop.
Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence in English dub will be released today, July 26. New episodes will be streamed on Crunchyroll every week.
