Now that Disney has bought Fox, the Mouse House has film rights to Deadpool. While fans are already excited to see Wade Wilson in action once again, the character's future in Marvel is yet to be determined. Ryan Reynolds shares his thoughts on the matter and he seems to be promising that it'll be worth the wait.

"Oh, man, I really don't know," the actor told Total Film magazine (via GamesRadar). "It's just all so new with it being over at Marvel now, and, you know, figuring out the ins and outs as much as I can, from where I sit. We'll see."

Reynolds met with Marvel Studios last year, but there haven't been many updates about the character's future since then. That said, the actor is optimistic about what's ahead. "I don't feel like an insider at all," he admitted. "I think once I'm more intimate with it – if we get to make a Deadpool 3… if or when we get to make a Deadpool 3, I'll probably have a better perspective on that."

The actor points out that he is a huge fan of Marvel and how the studio makes movies. He also thinks that Disney's acquisition of Fox is a "good thing." "Deadpool hopefully being allowed to play in that sandbox, I think is just a win for everyone involved," Reynolds added. "But we'll certainly see."

It's only a matter of time until fans get to see the Merc with a Mouth again, especially since two of his movies have been successful in the box office.
