What Happened Before RWBY Volume 10?
RWBY volume 9 carried us away from the increasingly dystopian Remnant into the Ever After, a fairytale-like world.
With her mental health declining rapidly after the disastrous battle in Atlas, Ruby could barely summon the will to move forward.
Her increasing despair causes her to contemplate leaving her identity and duties behind.
Her journey is parallel to Jaune's, who also questions his ability as a leader and everything he's ever believed.
Harsh as volume 9 can be, it's the best season when it comes to Blake and Yang, a fan-favorite ship.

Is There Any Information about RWBY Volume 10 After Rooster Teeth's Shutdown?
In a FAQ shortly after volume 9, Geoff Yetter declined to comment on any future content.
The lack of clarity about a further RWBY season is further complicated by the announcement that Warner Bros is shutting Rooster Teeth down.
After this announcement, RWBY's future is up in the air, although there are hopes that the beloved show might be saved.
Warner Bros. is reportedly in discussions about selling RWBY and other Rooster Teeth (RT) series, which would mean a continuation if successful, albeit with a different team.
The show might not look exactly like RT's original vision, but a successful sale could mean closure for the beloved series.
At this point, the show has a life outside of Rooster Teeth, with an Ice Queendom spin-off by Japanese studio Shaft and tons of merch.
Moreover, the series is currently available on Crunchyroll, with a strong fanbase beyond Rooster Teeth supporters.
Does RWBY Volume 10 Have a Release Date?
RWBY volume 10 doesn't currently have a release date. It is believed that RT had started working on it, but the series might take a different form now that the company is being shut down.
When asked about the future of RWBY, Geoff Yetter, one of the show's licensing managers, shared the following:
"[The team has] already hammered out the overview for volume 10, with more writing expected soon. While V10 is not greenlit yet, we do have a plan to bring the season to fruition."
Yetter further commented on the significance of fan support to keep the show going:
"Fan support is ultimately what we need to continue to prove RWBY's viability to current and potential partners.
Bringing in new fans and introducing them to the world of RWBY is critical to breathe new life into the franchise and allow us the opportunity to open up this universe even further."

Is Rooster Teeth Still Producing RWBY Volume 10?
If RWBY volume 10 comes out, it will no longer be made by Rooster Teeth Productions. The show was originally written and animated by web-based animator and writer Monty Oum.
Following Oum's death, Rooster Teeth continued producing RWBY until volume 9, but with the company shutting down, the series' future depends on whether it will be sold.
Even if some of the same people work on it, it will be picked up by another studio.
