The first 3 episodes of RWBY: Ice Queendom all aired together, as a joint recap episode, but from there on, we are embarking on a brand new adventure!
Ruby Rose barely escapes the dream world created by her teammate, Weiss, after her infection by Grimm.
As Professor Shion allows Ruby to try again, this time Blake and Yang insist on joining her and rescuing Weiss together.
But Weiss's dreams are increasingly nightmarish. In the ice queendom of her dreams, her teammates are invaders, and Blake is a dangerous terrorist even though, in real life, she has given up any allegiance to the White Fang.
Since RWBY: Ice Queendom doesn't negate the canon material, we know for a fact that Weiss isn't beyond saving; but what will Ruby, Yang, Blake do to penetrate the world of Weiss' trauma and deeply ingrained prejudices?
Increasingly, the show reminds us of magical girl anime like Puella Magi Madoka Magika and we look forward to seeing more!
