Russell Davies Knows Who Doctor Who’s New Doctor Is

Doctor Who fans might not yet know who BBC cast as the new face of the Doctor after Peter Capaldi leaves the Tardis and the sonic screwdriver this December, but it seems like series head writer and executive producer Russell T. Davies already knows who this new Doctor is.

Speaking in an interview with Guys Like U, Davies fessed up and told the world that he actually knew who the new Doctor would be, without even giving the name of the new actor.

"I do know who it is," Davies said, jokingly commenting that. " "every time you pass comment on Doctor Who, they go mad… they literally phone me up and say 'can you stop talking about the program Russ.'"

Of course, given his experience on the series, it comes as no surprise that Davies managed to get his hands on the identity of the new Doctor. The only question is who exactly it is? Could it be Phoebe Waller Bridge? Or could it be Doctor Strange star Tilda Swinton? How about Kris Marshall? Is the next Doctor a guy?

Fans will have to hound Davies for the answer, because aside from him, no one knows who's BBC's next Doctor for Doctor Who.

Doctor Who season 10 ends sometime this December with the usual Christmas special.
