Ronan the Accuser and Korath Return in Images from Captain Marvel

We originally met Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou) and Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) in the first Guardians of the Galaxy, but they'll be making a comeback in next year's Captain Marvel. We just recently got a huge bunch of images thanks to Entertainment Weekly and they give us a look at Korath and Ronan back in their Kree days.

Check them out:

As per EW, Korath and Ronan are in very different places compared to when we first met them in GOTG. Korath is a member of the Kree Starforce along with Carol Danvers while Ronan is said to be a ‘high-ranking member' of Kree society. By the time we meet him in Guardians, he would have been outcast due to his extremist views.

Before 2017, Marvel films were known to have forgettable villains, and Korath and Ronan were not too different. Hopefully with this film, we get more backstory for them, and it will change how we perceive the characters when we revisit Guardians of the Galaxy.

Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Captain Marvel is slated for a release on March 8, 2019.
