Brie Larson promised that we would get some big Captain Marvel reveals today, and thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a load of new images from the movie. Besides a look at Brie Larson in the Captain Marvel suit, we now have our first look at the primary antagonists, the Skrulls.

According to EW, the Skrull in the lead is Talos, and he's being played by Rogue One's Ben Mendelsohn. The Skrulls are notorious shapeshifters in the comics, so it would makes sense that we also get a look at Mendelsohn in human form here:
It's said that Talos will be working undercover as a SHIELD agent in the film. We don't know what the Skrulls would want with SHIELD, but I bet that more than just Talos will be dwelling in their ranks. First HYDRA then the Skrulls—SHIELD really needs to up their background checks.
Though a lot of fans are waiting for Avengers 4, Captain Marvel is the next big movie in the Marvel Studios lineup. Ant-Man and the Wasp was some good clean fun, but I'm thinking that the stakes will ultimately be raised come March when Captain Marvel graces the screens.
Captain Marvel is slated for a release on March 8, 2019.
