The Devil All the Time co-stars Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland have turned heads with their intense and jaw-dropping performances in the Netflix thriller. However, DC and Marvel fans couldn't help but see things a little differently as the two British actors (obviously) are playing iconic comic book characters — Batman and Spider-Man respectively.

Now, this new fan art which is making the rounds all over social media imagines a world where Robert and Tom trade places to portray their original superhero counterparts and it's quite interesting, to say the least. The stunning images were created by artist Mohammed Hibban aka @venomhology on Instagram. Check it out below:

Sure, those images don't exactly feel "right" but it's still worth pondering what could have been. But honestly, at this point, it's hard to imagine someone else playing the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man other than Tom who's been killing it since he first got introduced in Captain America: Civil War. As for Pattinson, it's only right that we reserve our judgment come next year when the Matt Reeves-directed film finally hits cinemas but so far, with the little footage we've seen from the trailer, the future looks promising for "Battinson" and I think he's gonna blow our minds away. It's truly an exciting time to be a comic book/superhero film fan!

The third Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland is scheduled to begin production in early 2021 while Robert Pattinson's The Batman is slated to hit cinemas the same year.
