Rihanna Wants To Play Poison Ivy In DC’s The Batman Movie

It looks like legendary singer Rihanna wants to become DC's new Poison Ivy in Matt Reeve's The Batman movie.

Speaking in an interview with ET, Rihanna declared interest in starring in The Batman, saying that she would love to play DC's sultry villain, Poison Ivy. The musician inadvertently sparked rumors about joining The Batman cast after posting an image of her leather boots on Instagram, mentioning the Batmobile in the post's caption. ET couldn't help but bring up the topic, asking the singer whether she was really hinting at a role in Matt Reeve's upcoming film.

Though Rihanna would love to join The Batman, the singer says that she has yet to receive word from Warner Brothers.

"That (post) has to do a lot with Batman (because) I have separate obsessions. I have a bigger obsession with Poison Ivy, I'm just being honest. And yeah, I dyed my hair red because of Uma Thurman in the original."

Though Warner Brothers has yet to approach her with an offer, Rihanna says that she'd love to audition for the role of Poison Ivy, saying that the role is one of her many "obsessions in life."

There isn't that much word about The Batman's plot just yet, but word has it that the film is going to feature Batman and the Dark Knight's Rogues Gallery. Penguin, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Deathstroke have all been rumored for the movie.

Aside from Robert Pattinson as Batman, Warner Brothers has yet to cast other stars in the upcoming movie.
