Rick And Morty Writers Reveal More Ideas For “Morty’s Mind Blowers” Episode

Rick and Morty traded the usual Interdimensional Cable episode for a wild run of Morty's Mind Blowers last Sunday, and it looks like writers behind the freaky episode have few stories to add to the long list of shelved Morty memories.

Posting on the official Rick and Morty handle, writers of the cult animated science fiction comedy series revealed to the public that they actually wrote a hundred mind blowers for last week's episodes, narrowing it down through votation and then writing even more.

Game of Thrones writers James Siciliano and Guterman might have gotten some things through in Morty's Mind Blowers, however, it seems like the two had more to Morty's wacky memories about love-hating worms and smudges that look like a man on the moon.

Including a memory of Morty "being an old man and helping his granddaughter do homework," other pitches include "Rick falling in love with a firetruck" and of course a bit where there's "a fake Premium Cable style title sequence that Rick had produced for the start of a later Mind Blowers." These stories sound so strange, they'd fit right in with Morty's Mind Blowers. It's such a shame that they couldn't fit in the 20-minute episode. Hopefully, this season of Rick and Morty will feature another Morty's Mindeblowers for fans to laugh over.

Rick and Morty's third season airs its episodes every Sunday on Adult Swim.
