Rick and Morty Season 5 Clip Revealed at Comic-Con 2020

We already know that Rick and Morty Season 5 is coming and although it's unclear how long we'll have to wait, Adult Swim just managed to get fans all hyped up for the new season. The first clip from the fifth season of the animated series has just been revealed at Comic-Con@Home and it's pretty exciting.

The Rick and Morty Season 5 sneak peek is still a rough sketch but it already features Justin Roiland's voice. In addition to that, it confirms that Rick is somehow injured and Morty is trying to get them into safety. Along the way, they come across images of themselves, most notably of them being Blade.

The wounded Rick is being hopeless, claiming that the end is near for them. However, Morty refuses to give up and manages to get them back to Earth but their ship is badly damaged. As they crash, Morty decides to call Jessica and tell her how he feels about her.

Interestingly, Jessica reveals that she has been expecting Morty to say something to her and even asks him if he wants to watch a movie. The panicked Morty agrees then decides he doesn't want to die yet. He manages to crash the ship against a tree that makes them land into the ocean.

Just when you think things are finally looking up for Rick and Morty, Rick reveals that landing on the ocean wasn't a good idea after all.

Rick and Morty Season 5 has not yet been given an official release date. However, there's a huge chance that the fifth season will air on Adult Swim by next year.
