Rick And Morty Season 4 SDCC 2019 First Look Is All About Ominous Beeps

It has been a long wait but we finally have our first look at Rick and Morty Season 4 which was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. So what's happening here? Cue the ominous beeping noise.

The clip titled Glootie opens with Jerry and Morty sitting with an alien for an app launch day. However, Jerry immediately tells Glootie to take the app down. Unfortunately, the alien says he can't do that because "it's your app, I'm just an intern."

Morty clearly has had enough of this guy because he immediately begins breaking computer monitors in an effort to shut the app down. "That's not how apps work," Glootie tells him and is immediately attacked.

Morty repeatedly begs Glootie to take the app down until the alien suddenly begins beeping ominously. Jerry and Morty are alarmed and back away, fearing that Glootie will blow up. However, the alien takes the opportunity to try and run away.

Luckily, he isn't successful and Morty pulls him back into the house. When Jerry inspects him, it is revealed that the noise came from an ominous beeping app in Glootie's phone.

Jerry is clearly impressed. "You can't stay mad at a guy with this kind of talent," he says but Morty isn't having any of it. "Dad, you can and you have to," he fires back.

We don't know what's happening here but we're definitely intrigued.

Rick and Morty Season 4 has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, the series is expected to return on Adult Swim in November.
