Respawn Entertainment is Open to Continuing the Story Behind Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

It's only been a few days since Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's release, but ever since the game's been launched, it's already been declared a commercial and critical success by both critics and by users.

Motivated by the success achieved by the action-adventure videogame, Respawn Entertainment declares that it's open to seeing that success to continue in other games.

Speaking in an interview with Games Radar, Respawn Entertainment brand strategy director Charlie Houser was asked whether the studio would be interested in having more Fallen Order stories. Houser's answer was a simple "yes" when asked whether Respawn Entertainment would be interested in pursuing more Cal Kestis stories after Fallen Order.

While fans might excitedly believe that the answer refers to brand new videogames, the response also leaves room for Respawn Entertainment to continue Fallen Order's story with DLC content or with a spin-off installment.

"We've had an absolute blast [making Fallen Order]," Houser told GamesRadar. "For a new team that's come together at Respawn, it's been a lot of learning to pull this off. Pending player reaction and feedback, and how everyone's feeling about it, we would love to continue making awesome experiences and stories and keep telling that story in Star Wars."

Enjoying an 81% score at Metacritic and a 9/10 score from Steam, Fallen Order is nothing short of a major success for EA and for Respawn Entertainment. The game's also become EA's fastest-selling PC title within the game's launch window and the company's fastest-selling digital Star Wars game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
