Star Wars: The Last Jedi Director May Have Revealed a Spoiler for The Mandalorian Season 2

Star Wars fans are going crazy over Baby Yoda ever since it was revealed in The Mandalorian's pilot episode. The show is only on its third episode so far, but it looks like The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson might have dropped a spoiler for season 2, which involves the adorable character.

In a recent interview with The Wrap, Johnson talked about his latest movie Knives Out. However, in the process, the director also shared some thoughts over keeping Baby Yoda a secret prior to the show's release.

"He's amazing!" Johnson said, referring to the baby. "I visited the set of The Mandalorian a month ago." The director revealed that he spotted Baby Yoda "in the corner." He then pointed out that the producer gave him some sort of warning look, seemingly giving him a sign that he shouldn't "say a word" about the surprise character.

"I've been holding that secret in my heart for forever now," Johnson added. He also mentioned that the memes for the character are "amazing" and points out that he's "very pro-Baby Yoda."

While he didn't seem to have revealed anything huge about the show, some fans pointed out that Baby Yoda could be appearing in the second season as well. Since the director went to the set last month, with season 2 well in production, there's a good chance that the baby will still be apparent in the show.

That being said, Johnson mentioned that he saw the puppet "in the corner" which suggests that it could just be hanging around the set. He didn't reveal anything about a scene that involved the baby. However, with such a huge role in the first season so far, it is likely that the Mandalorian will have more adventures with the baby in the second season.
