Just days after the first trailer came out, Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City dropped a second trailer, an international one, with new scenes on the lead of the movie, Claire Redfield and it is much more haunting than the previous one as it is more on the horror part of the film than that of the US version was released.

The trailer starts with Claire Redfield on a rainy 1998 night who hitchhiked on a truck going to Raccoon City when a mysterious bloodied woman suddenly passed and was hit by the truck. When Claire went down, the woman walked away as if nothing happened. Upon arriving in the city, Claire unites with Chris, her brother, and the whole town was surprised by zombies connected to the experiments of Umbrella Corporation.

The first trailer released got more of the feel of the scenes of the game like the viewers are immersed in the amazing gameplay of Resident Evil. For the second one, it has a more horror-movie kind of vibe. Both trailers show that the vision of director Johannes Roberts is much different and more faithful to the game than that of Paul W.S. Anderson's version.

Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City stands as a reboot of the whole film franchise and it will happen where it all started. The movie would explore the early days of the apocalypse and some scenes are as if you're playing the game. This time, the zombies also sport a rather different look than other zombie movies plus there are those creepy creatures from the game that would make your hairs on the back stand.
