Resident Evil 7: biohazard Gets PS4 Pro Support, Leaked Preorder Bonus

What's scarier than what Capcom has promised in Resident Evil 7: biohazard? Seeing all of those in glaring 4K resolution and detail.

Capcom has confirmed that the new Resident Evil installment will be compatible with the upcoming PS4 Pro.

"Get the best possible gameplay experience with crisp 4K resolution and the enhanced brightness capabilities of HDR video."

Of course, that will require the TV to have specs that meet the standards to sufficiently deliver 4K/HDR standards. It's like Capcom is rolling out the many different ways to scare yourself with its brand new game. I'm out, but I'm sure a lot of long-time and horror fans will love this.

If that's enough to get you to buy, there are also some leaked images of the preorder bonus DLC for the game. Ideally, this aims to unlock the hardest difficulty early on as well as introduces an item pack, as leaked by Swedish retailer Discshop (via GameSpot).

There are four item packs included in the leaked images. These include the Recovery Set, the Handgun Set, the Burner Set, and the Chem Fluid Set. The details of what each set contains is not yet confirmed but from the looks of it, all of them look very, very useful.

Resident Evil 7: biohazard will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC come Jan. 24, 2017. The PS4 version will have access to the PS VR.
