Reply 1988 star Choi Sung Won is ready to act again months after receiving treatment for leukemia again.

Choi Sung Won scored his luck when he was able to join the third installment of the Reply series in 2015. At that time, he played the role of Sung No-eul in Reply 1988.

The actor started his career as a musical actor, starring in several musicals like Finding Mr. Destiny and Oh! While You Were Sleeping before appearing on small and big screens. So far, he already has several series under his belt, including Mirror of the Witch, Prison Playbook, The Prison, The Accidental Detective, and Gangnam Beauty, to name a few.

Unfortunately, he had to stop working as an actor in 2020 as he needed to undergo treatment for leukemia again. Over a year since he went on a hiatus, Choi Sung Won made a massive move to mark his comeback in the acting industry.

The actor is still recovering from the dreaded disease. But it was not actually the first time he was diagnosed with leukemia.

For now, fans wish for his faster recovery and him to wholly get rid of the disease so he can return to the industry for good.
