In Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 3, Kazuya’s relationship with Chizuru has become more complex, presenting new challenges for them.
Alongside upholding their façade of a fake relationship, which Kazuya secretly yearns to transform into a genuine one, he has now taken on the ambitious task of producing an entire movie solely for Chizuru’s sake.
To honor Chizuru’s promise to her ailing grandmother, they must find a way to gather the necessary resources and skills to create an independent movie, with Chizuru as the protagonist.
Despite the daunting odds they face, the introduction of a new woman in Kazuya’s life is bound to make this seemingly difficult job even more implausible.

Shin’ya Une (Record of Ragnarok) is taking over directorial duties from Kazuomi Koga (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) for Season 3.
Meanwhile, Mitsutaka Hirota (Bibliophile Princess) is handling the series composition while Kanna Hirayama is taking care of the character design.
Hyadain (Hunter × Hunter -The Last Mission-) is roped in again to compose the music for Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 3.
The art direction for the new season is taken care of by Minoru Akiba (My Roommate Is a Cat).
Season 3 of Rent-A-Girlfriend also introduces a new character named Mini Yaemori, voiced by Yuu Serizawa (How Not to Summon A Demon Lord).
How Many Episodes Will Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 3 Have?
Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 3 is reportedly set to have 12 episodes, according to the Disney+ Japan listing spotted by Anime Recorder.
This adds up to the last two seasons which also had 12 episodes each and aired as single cour seasons.
It is likely that Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 3 will end in Summer 2023.
Meanwhile, an official confirmation regarding the episode count of Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 3 is yet to happen.

Crunchyroll has acquired the rights to stream Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 3 from July 7, 2023, worldwide, except for Asia.
In Japan, the third season will debut on TBS, MBS, and 26 other affiliate channels.
The opening theme song of Rent-A-Girlfriend is titled Rentai mm Film (Love mm Film) and is performed by halca.
Meanwhile, the J-pop duo, Amber’s, will perform the ending theme titled End Roll.
