The release of Reign of the Supermen is still a little over a month away. However, we now have a glimpse at the powerhouse cast of the highly anticipated animated film. Character designer Phil Bourassa has just shared the first photos of Justice League heavyweights Wonder Woman and The Flash as well as Rebecca Romjin's Lois Lane.
Bourassa shared the images on his official Instagram account. In addition to that, the character designer expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew of Reign of the Supermen. Take a look at his post below.
"Reign of the Supermen is almost here! Really proud of our whole team for doing such an excellent job- this movie turned out wonderfully. I am so excited for fans of DC Animation because y'all are in for a treat!" Bourassa wrote.
Former X-Men actress Romjin will provide the voice of Lois Lane while Daredevil alumni Rosario Dawson plays Wonder Woman. Once Upon a Time star Christopher Gorman is Barry Allen/The Flash.
The synopsis for Reign of the Supermen reads as follows:
"Following Superman's sacrifice to defeat Doomsday, the world reels the superhero's death, with several different versions of the hero popping up on Earth to take his place like Superboy, Steel, Cyborg Superman, and Eradicator."
Supermen also stars Jerry O'Connell as Clark Kent, Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor, Cameron Monaghan as Superboy, Cress Williams as Steel, Patrick Fabian as Cyborg Superman, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, and Tony Todd as Darkseid.
Reign of the Supermen will screen in limited theaters on January 13, 2019. The digital release is on January 15, 2019, while the DVD and Blu-Ray will be available starting January 29, 2019.
