Netflix's Heist Movie Just Dethroned Bird Box as Streaming Giant's Most Popular Movie Ever

Red Notice clocked in at 328.8 million hours, but expect the total number to rise because the film has only been on Netflix for only 18 days. With this result, the film has officially dethroned Bird Box (282 million hours), the 2018 hit starring Sandra Bullock. Bird Box held the top spot for nearly three years.

Directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, Skyscraper), Red Notice features an all-star cast, including Gal Gadot, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Ryan Reynolds. The film features a thrilling story about a daring heist that brings together the FBI’s top agent and two rival criminals.

Despite its popularity, Red Notice received mixed reviews, with the heist thriller receiving a 35% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics, but it received a 92% audience score. The critics consensus on Rotten Tomatoes reads: "Red Notice's big budget and A-list cast add up to a slickly competent action comedy whose gaudy ingredients only make the middling results more disappointing."

Red Notice is produced by Johnson, Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia. Johnson, Gadot and Reynolds were joined by Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopolous.
