Red Band Trailer for the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Features Chris Hemsworth, Ben Affleck, and More!

We thought the trailer for Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent BobReboot was dropping during his panel on July 20, but it looks like they've released the preview early! Check out the star-studded trailer for the film.

This is the official description for the movie:

The stoner icons who first hit the screen 25 years ago in CLERKS are back! When Jay and Silent Bob discover that Hollywood is rebooting an old movie based on them, the clueless duo embark on another cross-country mission to stop it all over again!

From the get-go, we see some Smith veterans like Craig Robinson, Justin Long, Jason Lee, and Shannon Elizabeth, but the movie also includes the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Val Kilmer, Melissa Benoist, Joe Manganiello, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck—just to name a few.

While we did get the reveal earlier that Benoist would be playing Chronic, it looks like she'll be playing opposite former Batman Val Kilmer. And here I thought it was going to be Hemsworth. As it turns out, Hemsworth is going to be some kind of hologram in the film.

Personally, I thought the trailer was fine, but Smith's films are best known for their long-winded dialogues, so I guess they couldn't really put that in the trailers. If anything, a lot of fans are excited for the return of cinemas two favorite stoners, and I'm happy to be coming back to the ViewAskewniverse.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is set to come out Oct. 15.
