Reborn Rich depicts the story of Yoon Hyeon Woo, who has been with the Soonyang Group for almost a decade. He has dedicated his life to the company but was wrongfully accused of embezzlement, therefore leaving him with no choice but to plan to take over the corporation and get revenge on the family he had previously served.

Reborn Rich Episode 1 sees Song Joong Ki continuously being competent at his job, although the chaebol family treats his efforts blindly.
Even when Chairman Jin Young-Ki suddenly passed out before the unveiling ceremony for the late Chairman Jin Yang-Chul, he used his wit to solve the problem by putting Vice Chairman Jin Sung-Joon on the podium and appearing before the media and members of the family.
Yoon Hyun-Woo, who calmly convinces the vice chairman, understands that there is still a clear gap between the two. As he continues to suffer while dedicating himself to the company, Yoon Hyun-Woo prevented the search and seizure of Chairman Jin Young-Ki's alleged illegal slush funds.
He tries to avoid getting involved in the company's issues but was confused when Shin Kyung-Min (GOT7 Jinyoung), the new assistant manager, found data on an affiliate called Soonyang Micro. Song Joong Ki Chooses A Side In Reborn Rich Episode 1
Yoon Hyun-Woo reports his discovery to Kim Ju-Ryeon. But, contrary to his expectations, Kim Ju-Ryeon destroyed the documents and informed Hyun-Woo that no one should know about them.
As Hyun-Woo realized whom he was serving, he reported everything to Jin Sung-Joon. The Vice Chairman got enraged after calling in Mr. Kim and gave him a chance to admit that he was aware of the paper company's existence. However, Mr. Kim just sent his apologies.
Jin Sung-Joon appointed Hyun-Woo as the head of the finance team and ordered him to find Soomnyang's assets. Feeling a new sense of achievement, Hyun-Woo gladly accepted the order, which was how he was able to transfer a large sum of $600 million to his account.

Song Joong Ki Lives A Different Life In Reborn Rich Episode 1
Reborn Rich Episode 1 also highlights Yoon Hyun-Woo, who worked for the Soonyang Group without hesitation and died as a result of a conspiracy and an unexpected betrayal. After successfully transferring the slush fund to his account by order of Jin Sung-Joon, he was chased by mysterious people and eventually killed.
It turns out that Shin Kyung-Min was the one who led the search for him, and told him that he was only following orders. Shin Kyung-Min regretfully takes Hyun-Woo's suitcase and leaves him to his unfortunate death.
However, Hyun-Woo's life was reset with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity when he returned in 1987 as the youngest son of the Soonyang Group. Yoon Hyun-Woo realized that he is now Jin Do-Joon, causing confusion as to how this happened.
