On November 14, SM Entertainment announced on its official fan community page that the main vocalist is in self-quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.

Taeyeon was diagnosed with COVID-19 today, November 14.
The self-diagnosis kit, which she had conducted after feeling symptoms of poor conditions the previous day, showed a positive result. She had immediately conducted a rapid antigen test this morning and received confirmation that she had acquired the virus.
Taeyeon has currently suspended all her schedule and activities and is in self-quarantine in accordance with the guidelines set by the healthcare authorities.
We will continue to follow the quarantine guidelines thoroughly, and we will do our best to focus on our artist’s health and safety as the top priority. We will do everything to aid our artist in her treatment and recovery.

Meanwhile, Taeyeon recently received the "Best Female Solo Artist" award at the 2022 Genie Music Awards, which took place on November 8 at the Incheon Namdong Gymnasium.
After three years, it was the first time that the award ceremony was held with an in-person audience.
The red carpet and the award show's live broadcast were both cancelled after the recent incident in Itaewon. The award ceremony was recorded and will be aired at a later time.
