Raquel Welch Real Cause Of Death: American Actress Spotted Doing This Months Before She Passed Away

Raquel Welch was sighted treating herself to a manicure, months prior to her shocking death. The American actress-model headed to J&J Beauty Lounge in Beverly Hills in July 2022, where she was spotted getting a manicure and pedicure.

At the time, Welch was seen donning a casual white top and back pants for the outing, which is similar to what she wore during an outing in September 2021. She accessorized her look with a fedora hat and oversize gold hoop earrings.

The “Legally Blonde” star died on Wednesday at 82. Her manager confirmed her death and said that she passed away peacefully after a brief illness.

Steve Sauer, a representative of Raquel Welch, said in a statement:

"Raquel Welch, the legendary bombshell actress of film, television and stage, passed away peacefully early this morning after a brief illness... The 82-year-old actress burst into Hollywood in her initial roles in One Million, B.C and Fantastic Voyage."

He added:

"Her career spanned over 50 years starring in over 30 films and 50 television series and appearances. The Golden Globe winner, in more recent years, was involved in a very successful line of wigs. Raquel leaves behind her two children, son Damon Welch and her daughter, Tahnee Welch.”

Who Is Raquel Welch?

For starters, Raquel Welch was considered an international sex symbol in the 1960s. She was widely remembered for wearing a deerskin bikini for the movie titled “One Million Years B.C.” in 1966.

The American model only had a few lines in the said film, but her wardrobe made her performance memorable. Welch became more popular when she appeared in the movie called “Fantastic Voyage,” which led her to ink a contract with 20th Century Fox and later helped her get a contract with Hammer Film Productions.

Welch developed a unique movie persona that made her an icon of the 1960s and 1970s. Her undeniable popularity was one of the reasons why she ended Hollywood’s vigorous promotion of the blonde bombshell.
