Rachel McAdams Says Doctor Strange is Not Going To Be Like Any Other Marvel Films

Rachel McAdams role in the upcoming Doctor Strange film is still a mystery; not even her character name was revealed.

McAdams isn't sharing any plot or character details from Marvel's upcoming film, but she did say why she joined the project in the first place.

"I mean, I just love the director," McAdams told MTV. "I met with Scott [Derrickson] and loved his vision, he was so passionate. And the opportunity to work with Benedict was kind of a no-brainer. And Marvel makes amazing films, so it was a complete package."

As expected, the film will be unique: "It's definitely not going to be like any of the other films," McAdams added.

Doctor Strange will hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.
