Scott Adkins Cast For Unknown Role in Doctor Strange

We've gotten a bit more information lately about Marvel's Doctor Strange, and the latest news is that martial artist and actor Scott Adkins will be joining the cast. TheWrap reported that Adkins is signing on for a role in the film, but exactly who he's playing is a mystery at this point. However, Doctor Strange insiders suggest that he'll be a part of some crucial action scenes that feature hand-to-hand combat.

Scott Adkins is notably known for his roles in The Bourne Ultimatum, The Expendables 2, and Zero Dark Thirty. He's an incredible martial artist with worldwide recognition, and you can see why when you watch his work. I'm interested to see how his new role will play into the dynamics of the other main characters, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton. As an action fan myself, I think Scott Adkins will be a great addition to Doctor Strange. We've got plenty of time to learn more about his mystery role though, as the release isn't until November 4, 2016. We'll keep you updated when we learn more!
