Following the release of the Quintessential QuintupletsSeason 2 Episode Finale, an announcement was dropped by the official Twitter page of the Quintessential Quintuplets and the anime is excited to share the news that the anime series has been given another shot with another season and the announcement says to look forward to the details along with thanking their fans for the continued support.
The Quintessential Quintuplets tweet has a hashtag, #TheQuintessentialBride, which means that the story is heading in the direction where it would be who the bride would be is the path. The romance comedy anime series follows the five Nakano sisters, the quintuplets, Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki, as to who would the bride of their private tutor, Futaro, might be.
The announcement also shows key visuals of each quintuplet wearing a bridal dress meaning any girl could be the bride and the one for Futaro.
The Quintessential Quintuplets ∭ (with a triple integral symbol signifying it's the third) have just been announced after the 12th episode of season 2 aired, the announcement was dropped online along with a short visual of what will be happening. Though it is not sure whether the third season of the series will follow the same style, what matters is that its sequel has been renewed and we're going to have more of the Nakano sisters and their fight over Futaro.
The third season of the series has only a few pieces of information shared but the announcement of having a third season granted is enough for fans to rejoice and look forward to knowing more about it. If ever it will get the same treatment as that of season 2, it is expected to have the same number of episodes with 12 episodes to complete one whole season.
The Quintessential Quintuplets is based on the Japanese shōnen manga of the same name written and illustrated by Negi Haruba which recently concluded after the release of the 14th tankōbon volume. The manga series was published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine and released in English under Kodansha USA.
Just a little overview of the anime series, it follows the quintuplets who are all fighting over one guy, Futaro. Futaro ended up becoming their tutor when his father was asked by the stepfather of the quintuplets if he could help them improve their grades as he is academically gifted. To his surprise, he was in for a ride as there are five girls with identical faces in front of him.
To Futaro's luck, he keeps a photo of a girl who has inspired him to do better every day and he keeps her photo in his student handbook. In the season finale of Season 2, it was revealed that the girl in the photo is Yotsuba. Given that all of them have similar faces, it was also revealed that Futaro has met with Ichika as well, in the same event, which makes him confused about who of the two was the girl who inspired him.
In Futaro's past, he kissed a girl the time he visited Toraiwa Hot Springs. It was hinted that this girl will be the one he would marry. Who do you think will marry Futaro?
