Prince Harry Allegedly Wants An Apology From Royals After Attending Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee

Royal author Angela Levin spent a year with Prince Harry when she worked on his biography, Harry: A Biography of a Prince. According to her, following the happenings over the Platinum Jubilee weekend, Prince Charles' youngest is "absolutely furious."

"I think he would have been very, very upset that he was largely ignored," Levin told The Sun. "He still feels he's owed an apology."

"But he's the one who should apologise. He said during the Oprah interview that Charles and William were trapped, he said he'd been cut off by his father," Levin continued. "You can't just go around being rude about people and expecting them to open their hearts to you again."

Several royal experts felt that Prince Harry wasn't happy at the event in honor of his grandmother. Royal pundit Lady Colin Campbell echoed the same opinion; she believed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were "spitting bricks" for the booing and cold-shouldering they received from the royal family. Shey also believed that they were upset because their minimal appearance was an indication that they were third-tier royals, and it would damage their brand.

"They're very concerned that their brand has been irretrievably damaged by the fact that the whole world now knows that they are not only third-tier royals,"  Campbell told Dan Wootton on GBNews.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attempted to extend an olive branch to Prince William and Kate Middleton by inviting them to Lilibet's first birthday. However, the latter were forced to decline because Queen Elizabeth ordered them to visit Wales on the same day, Page Six reported.

Levin said it was Prince Harry's fault because he failed to check his brother's diary. As a former working royal, the expert believed that Prince Harry knew how to check his brother's availability to know ahead if he was free for his invitation.

"Allegedly, they asked Kate and William and the children to the party," Levin added. "However, they didn't take the trouble of finding out the Cambridges would be in Wales on the morning, and coming back to get ready for the Jubilee concert in the afternoon, so they couldn't go."

According to reports, Prince Harry and Prince William didn't have the chance to meet in private. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the U.K. quietly and flew back to California Sunday, while the royal family was celebrating the Platinum Jubilee finale.

Queen Elizabeth made a surprise second balcony appearance during the finale to personally thanked everyone who celebrated the event with them. She was joined by Prince Charles, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
