It may have seemed like a huge impossibility for a time, but Marvel Studios has finally pulled the trigger in bringing actors from Netflix's Marvel shows over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Last year, we already saw Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio make their respective MCU debuts, and naturally, fans are under the impression that their Netflix co-stars will soon follow suit.
Now, it turns out that Punisher actor Jon Bernthal is next in line for an MCU crossover. Actor Kasey O’Keefe set the MCU fandom ablaze after posting a picture of him and Bernthal on Instagram. He claims that the Frank Castle actor will make his debut in Phase 5 which kicks off next year, suggesting that he'll also be part of the billion-dollar franchise.
He wrote: "Looking forward to working with you During Marvel Phase 5!!" He also intriguingly added a cobweb emoji, possibly hinting that the actor will appear in a Spider-Man project.
O’Keefe is a relatively unknown actor from Los Angeles and we're not quite sure how he and Bernthal are related. We'd like to assume though that he's worked with the actor during his brief time in the now-defunct Netflix Marvel universe. Of course, his claims don't really hold much credibility to them so it's still best to take it with a grain of salt. Check it out here:

Interestingly, Rosario Dawson made headlines last August for sharing details about Bernthal's Punisher return, something that she would later take back. I gotta say, with Cox and D'Onofrio officially crossing over to the MCU, it seems like their Netflix co-stars aren't that far behind.
Meanwhile, Marvel Studios' Daredevil: Born Again is expected to hit Disney+ in Spring 2023.
