Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship remains strained today. It’s unclear if the brothers, who used to be very close, already had the opportunity to talk about their issues following Harry & Meghan. In the documentary, the Duke of Sussex revealed that his older brother shouted at him during one of their confrontations.
Prince William And Kate Middleton Want To Reconcile With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
But despite everything that’s been said and done, a new report claimed that Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are still hopeful for a reconciliation with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In fact, a source told Radar Online that Prince William is still very protective when it comes to Prince Harry. He reportedly shuts down the negative comments directed at the Duke of Sussex every time he hears them.
A second source told The Cut that Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship remains tense after the documentary.
“William is choosing his battles carefully and trying his utmost to rise above the drama,” the source said.

Prince Harry Previously Said That He Will Always Be There For Prince William
Throughout the years, Prince Harry has also said a number of things about his older brother. In 2019, he appeared in a documentary called Harry & Meghan: An African Journey. And it was during this interview that Prince Harry admitted that he and Prince William had a falling out.
“Part of this role and part of this job, this family, being under the pressure that it’s under, inevitably stuff happens. But look, we’re brothers, we’ll always be brothers. We’re certainly on different paths at the moment but I’ll always be there for him and I know he’ll always be there for me. We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy, but I love him dearly,” Prince Harry said (via Us Weekly).
Two years earlier, the Duke of Sussex also credited Prince Harry for encouraging him to get the help that he needed to deal with the loss of their mother, Princess Diana.
“It’s all about timing. And for me personally, my brother, you know, bless him, he was a huge support to me. He kept saying this is not right, this is not normal, you need to talk to [someone] about stuff, it’s OK. I can safely say that losing my mum at the age of 12, and therefore shutting down all of my emotions for the last 20 years, has had a quite serious effect on not only my personal life but my work as well,” Prince Harry said.
Prince William And Prince Harry Need To Exert Equal Effort To Save Their Relationship?
Unfortunately, there is no indication that Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship improved after their households were separated. A source previously said that the brothers both need to put in the work to save their relationship.
“They both need to put in the effort to rebuild their relationship. He doesn’t envy the responsibility that comes with being the future king of England, but William’s the ‘golden boy’ and Harry feels like he has a lot to live up to,” the source said.
