Prince William is one of the most reliable members of the royal family. As the future king of Britain, he has training for the important role with the help of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. And as a husband to Kate Middleton, the Duke of Cambridge is nothing but loving and supportive. And the same can be said when it comes to how he is with his three children.
Despite Prince William’s good character, some royal experts revealed that he has a bad temper. In the book Battle of Brothers, royal biographer Robert Lacey described the dad of three’s temper as fierce. In fact, Lacey also claimed that Camilla Parker-Bowles witnessed Prince William’s outbursts and she was shocked by what she saw.
“[William was] letting rip with no apparent inhibition in his presence. The rows had been earth-shattering by [Camilla's] account, with William doing the shouting and Charles submitting meekly,” Lacey wrote (via Cheat Sheet).
Prince William, Laura Lopes Used To Fight Over Their Respective Parents
And now, it has been revealed that Middleton’s husband used to get into heated fights with his stepsister, Laura Lopes, when they were much younger. Royal author Katie Nicholl detailed what transpired between the two in the book Harry and William.
“William and Laura used to have terrible fights over who was to blame for their broken homes. William would blame Camilla for all the hurt she had caused his mother, which would send Laura into a rage. Laura was not having any of it. She would take a hard line and fire back at William 'your father has ruined my life,’” Nicholl said (via Express).

Camilla Parker-Bowles Daughter Once Screamed At Prince William’s Dad Prince Charles
According to Nicholl, Lopes and her brother Tom were also teased by their peers because of their mom’s affair with Prince Charles. And when things became a tad bit difficult to handle, Lopes reportedly shouted at Prince Charles while he was on the phone calling Camilla.
“When Charles telephoned Camilla at the family home in Wiltshire, Laura would pick up an extension and shout down the receiver 'why don’t you stop calling mummy and leave our family alone.' She couldn’t care less that it was the Prince of Wales, she blamed him for breaking up her parents’ marriage and was not afraid to tell William so,” Nicholl said.
Prince William, Camilla Parker-Bowles’ Relationship Improved In Recent Years
But over time, Prince William and Lopes’ relationship improved. And the same can be said about Prince William and Camilla. In fact, the two are always seen chatting and laughing together when they are out in public.
However, royal expert Penny Junor said that Prince William and Camilla’s relationship now is in stark contrast to how they were decades ago.
“I think the relationship between them all is warm now but if I'm honest, it wasn't then. I think they found it hard. To be fair to Camilla, she never tried to be a mommy but she was the other woman and she was there and taking daddy's time,” Junor said.
