Prince William Shock: Future King Accompanies Daughter Princess Charlotte To Her Friend's Birthday Party; Duchess Of Cambridge Spotted Holding A Gift

Prince William showed how doting dad he was by accompanying his only daughter, Princess Charlotte, to her friend's birthday party. The future king was spotted dropping his and Kate Middleton's second child while holding a present, presumably for the celebrant.

Prince William Dropped Princess Charlotte To A Restaurant For Her Friend's Birthday Bash

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hands-on parents. They have been spotted multiple times driving or picking their kids from school.

Last weekend, Prince William was seen arriving in a restaurant in London with Princess Charlotte. Apparently, a friend of the princess was celebrating her birthday at the Il Pagliaccio restaurant in Fulham. The celebrant was believed to be her classmate at Thomas's Battersea.

In the footage obtained by Italian newspaper La Stampa, the father and daughter entered the restaurant flanked by security guards and greeting staff. However, several bodyguards entered the venue before the duo, Express reported.

The 6-year-old royal wore a long-sleeved black dress with tights and walked ahead of her dad through the restaurant. The future king was wearing a maroon jumper, blue shirt and jeans. He was spotted smiling and shaking hands with several members of the restaurant as he dropped off his daughter.

Prince William was clutching a gift wrapped in pink paper. The present was presumably for the birthday celebrant.

What Prince William Said About Daughter Charlotte In The Past

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very protective of their kids. The future king and queen consort want to give their kids a normal childhood, but they freely talk about their kids when they have the chance.

In an ITV documentary, Prince William: A Planet for Us All, when Prince William visited Liverpool, he was asked who between Princess Charlotte and Prince William was cheekier.

"No, they’re about as cheeky as each other. They’re very cheeky," Prince William said.

In December, the Duke of Cambridge also shared an insight about their family's morning rituals at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England, in a special Christmas episode of Apple Fitness+'s "Time to Walk" series. According to him, their two eldest children usually argue on most mornings over what music they want to play.

"Most mornings there's a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played in the morning," Prince William said. "And I have to, now, basically prioritize that one day someone does this one, and another day it's someone else's turn. So George gets his go, then Charlotte gets her go. Such is the clamor for the music."

Prince William said that his children's favorite song at the time was Shakira's "Waka Waka because there are a lot of hip movements and there's a lot of dressing up.
