The Duke of York settled the sexual assault lawsuit against him in an undisclosed amount. Even if his legal battle will soon end, several sources said that there is no way he will resume his royal duties or regain the patronages and military affiliations he already lost.

However, Prince Andrew was reportedly positive that there is still a way for him to turn the tables like his nephew, Prince Harry, who remains popular in the U.S. after stepping down from his royal duties. So, he might have a second chance somewhere.
