King Charles was photographed shaking hands with the royal fans who mourned with them following Queen Elizabeth's passing. However, the 73-year-old royal sparked health concerns after the netizens noticed that his fingers were looking red, raw and chafed, Page Six reported.
Since his hand appeared redder, many believed it was more sensitive at the knuckles and joints of his fingers. The sight got some royal fans worried about his health.
"There's now been a few photos surfacing of the now King Charles' very, VERY swollen, red hands... Is this man OK? William might need to start preparing himself," one user tweeted.
"I've been wondering for a while now ... what's going on with Charles' big red hands?" a second user wrote.
Why Fans Are Worried About Prince William's Father King Charles After Seeing His Swollen Hands
King Charles' red and swollen hands got royal fans worried because the Queen was photographed with what seemed to be bruised hands in her last public appearance just days before she passed away.
An Australian-based doctor examined Her Majesty's photo with Prime Minister Liz Truss at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on Sept. 6. and claimed that the Queen's dark bluish or purple hands could be an indication of a health problem.
Dr. Deb Cohen-Jones said Prince William's grandmother's "mottle hands" suggested that she could be suffering from "peripheral vascular disease," a blood circulation disorder.

"It looks like there is possibly evidence of peripheral vascular disease. It's a blood circulation disorder that causes the blood vessels outside of your heart and brain to narrow, block, or spasm," Cohen-Jones told Mail Online. "It can sometimes result in heart failure. If your peripheral circulation is that poor, organs aren't receiving a good blood supply. It can be a sign of multi-organ failure."
