It's been a while since Trans Arts, Nihon Ad Systems and TV Tokyo adapted Takeshi Konomi's coming-of-age sports manga Prince of Tennis into an anime series. Now, it looks like the show is having its own anniversary revival with a return to some of its very best tennis matches in a brand new special titled The Prince of Tennis BEST GAMES!
What's even better is that the anniversary special has a brand new promo video. The very first episode of The Prince of Tennis special just recently released in theatres in Japan, and along with the release comes a short promo video that shows fans just what the special is offering them.

Lasting for a minute and a half, the promo video shows fans the match between Seishun Academy's captain Kunimitsu Tezuka and Hyoutei Academy's Keigo Atobe, one of the biggest games in the series. Fans who've seen the original anime know that both Atobe and Tezuka are masters at their game, and the match between them is pretty tight.
The second episode of The Prince of Tennis Best GAMES! Special is one that highlights the doubles match between Shuichiro Oishi and Eiji Kikumaru with both Hiroshi Yagyu and Masaharu Nio. It also features the doubles match between Ryo Shishido and Chotaro Otori with Sahadaru Inui and Kaoru Kaido.
The Prince of Tennis BEST GAMES! is set to recieve its home release on October 23.
