Master swordsmiths Matt Stagmer and Kerry Stagmer of Man at Arms: Reforged just made one of the most iconic weapons in anime: Kenshin Himura's The Sakabatō "reverse blade" katana sword from the Rorouni Kenshin or Samurai X series. Since the blade is on the back instead of the front, it would be harder to kill someone with this sword but as you can see at the end of the video below, it still looks lethal. Himura used this kind of sword so he wouldn't kill again. Now the guys at this show recreated the cool weapon. The whole process is fascinating to watch and the result looks great.
