Prince Harry has not yet announced the official release date of his memoir, but prior to Queen Elizabeth's death, there were speculations that it would be available sometime in November. Due to Her Majesty's untimely passing, it is possible for the Duke of Sussex's memoir to only be available next year.

Prince Harry Will Talk About The Seating Arrangement, His Military Uniform In His Memoir

While speaking with New Idea, royal commentator Phil Dampier said that Prince Harry will not cancel his memoir altogether, contrary to what some royal experts have been saying. After all, he will be receiving millions in income, and his publisher will also profit off his memoir.

Dampier said that it would make more sense for Prince Harry to be postponing the release of his memoir because he now needs to add a new chapter regarding the events that transpired during the Queen's funeral.

"Harry will definitely want to add in an extra chapter," he said.

More specifically, this additional chapter could include Prince Harry's real thoughts on the seating arrangement at the Queen's funeral, as well as the fact that he was partially banned from wearing his military uniform.

Prince Harry's Memoir Will Still Include His Grievances Toward The Royal Family

Dampier also claimed that the Queen's death wouldn't silence Prince Harry. So, royal fans can expect him to continue criticizing certain members of the royal family like Queen Consort Camilla, King Charles III, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

"Harry will want to settle old scores – things he bottled up for years but Meghan has encouraged him to unburden himself. He's bound to talk about his childhood and the way his mother was treated by the royals and the press," Dampier said.

Of course, pushing through with the release of his memoir means that there will be no turning back for Prince Harry. After all, if he criticizes his family, then it will be more unlikely for him to return to his royal duties someday.

King Charles III Wants To Stop Prince Harry From Releasing His Memoir

Meanwhile, a source told Page Six that postponing the release of Prince Harry's memoir makes sense.

"Of course, the Queen's passing was something that was always speculated on when we started working on the book. When it comes down to it, there is absolutely no way the book can come out this year. You only have to look at the royal family to see how emotional they are. This is a matter of respect for Her Majesty—as Prince Harry's grandmother and as his Queen," the source said.

But a friend of King Charles III told Daily Mail that the monarch is trying to see if he could stop Prince Harry from releasing his memoir altogether.

"The question inside the Palace is: 'Can the book be stopped?' It may be that even Harry can't stop it at this stage but the feeling at the very top is that there's no good that can come of airing grievances in public," the source said.
