Prince Harry Claims Someone Suggested That All Female Royals Went Through What Meghan Markle Experienced?

In one of his accounts, Prince Harry claimed that a certain member of the royal family made a stark comment about what Meghan Markle had to deal with when she first joined the royal family.

Not only was the Duchess of Sussex followed by the paparazzi, but she was also criticized by the British media. Other female royals who married into The Firm also experienced similar treatment during their first few years. But Prince Harry insisted that what Markle went through was different because it had a racist element.

"Some of the members of the family were like, 'My wife had to go through that, so why should your girlfriend be treated any differently? Why should you get special treatment? Why should she be protected?' And I said, 'The difference here is the race element,'" Prince Harry said.

Prince Harry Was Referring To Prince William In One Of His Accounts?

Prince Harry did not reveal which member of the royal family made the remark. But according to New Idea, it was obvious that he was referring to Prince William.

"It doesn't take much to read between the lines and assume Harry is referring to his brother and now next in line to the throne, William, who married Catherine Middleton in 2011," the publication said.

Queen Consort Camilla Made Fun Of Archie's Ginger Afro Hair?

Last year, Prince Harry and Markle also made some racist allegations against the royal family. While speaking with Oprah Winfrey, the couple revealed that one member of the royal family had questions about Archie's skin color.

However, the couple never revealed the identity of the royal that they were referring to. But there were speculations that it could have either been King Charles or Queen Consort Camilla.

In the book Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors, royal author Tom Bower alleged that Queen Consort Camilla made fun of Archie's ginger afro hair.

The Sussexes' suspicion that the Duchess of Cornwall had made racist comments about [their then-unborn son] Archie had fueled their fearsome denunciation of the entire royal family. During those weeks, Harry met Charles and Camilla at Clarence House. In Harry's version, the conversation alternated between serious and joking and touched on three topics. First, Harry was told that Meghan should continue with her acting career. Second, Scotland Yard could not automatically be expected to pay for his girlfriend's 24-hour protection. And third, according to Harry, someone speculated about what his future child would 'look like.' In one version, Camilla remarked, 'Wouldn't it be funny if your child had ginger Afro hair?'" he said (via Page Six).

Prince Harry reportedly laughed after hearing Queen Consort Camilla's comment, but Markle was furious. However, no one from the royal family was able to confirm or deny Bower's accounts.
