After they tied the knot, negative stories about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex started circulating in the British press. And until today, there have been claims that Markle has been controlling and negatively influencing her husband.
Following their decision to quit The Firm, royal fans and royal critics alike seemingly put all the blame on Meghan Markle. Even though Prince Harry made it clear that the decision to quit was his, the public still believed that it was his wife who encouraged him to leave everything behind.
Meghan Markle Dubbed A Consummate Actor, Performer Who Controls Her Relationship With Prince Harry?
Just recently, former royal protection officer Ken Wharfe shared his thought about Prince Harry and Markle's relationship. Since he interacted with Prince Harry for many years while he was still young, Wharfe shared his observations regarding the changes that he saw in the dad of two.
According to Wharfe, some of the changes in Prince Harry might have had to do with Markle taking charge of his life.
"Well, I think that when you look at the wedding and the public events that followed, an event in Nottingham and London, she [Meghan Markle] is the consummate actor, the consummate performer. You could see the look in Harry's eyes saying, 'Hey, look what I've got, it's amazing,' but where did it all fall apart? Whether he is completely under her control, some people say that he is; I can't say that in all honesty," he told Express.

Prince Harry Reportedly Changed Since Dating Meghan Markle
Wharfe went on to say that something doesn't seem quite right when it comes to Prince Harry and Markle's relationship.
"If you look at him up until the point of his marriage, Harry was the joker. The most popular member of the royal family. Even more popular at that time than the late Her Majesty the Queen," he said.
Meghan Markle Dubbed As Prince Harry's Handler By Lady Victoria Harvey
Following the release of Spare, Lady Victoria Harvey also claimed that Markle appears to be Prince Harry's handler because she has so much control over him.
"As far as it goes with Meghan, everything she says is made up and as far as Ngozi goes, it just felt like a set-up from the beginning with the timing of it and everything. But with Meghan, it feels like she is Harry's handler and she completely controls him. Now they have got this other documentary they are doing and they are just going on and on. Harry is just being a complete puppet," she said (via Express).
