Prince Harry still hasn’t released his memoir. In his initial statement, Prince Harry said that his memoir will be released this year. So, it’s still not technically delayed because it’s only July. However, some royal experts are convinced that the Duke of Sussex’s memoir is delayed or worse, that it would no longer be released altogether.
Prince Harry Doesn’t Know What He Wants That’s Why He Hasn’t Released His Memoir, Spotify, Netflix Projects
During a recent discussion on GB News, actor and comedian Diane Spencer speculated on the reason why Prince Harry’s memoir has not yet been released. She said that the Duke of Sussex doesn’t know what he wants to do.
“I don’t think he knows what he wants at all. And I’m not surprised that they haven’t announced this book because [the Sussexes] are supposed to be doing a podcast on Spotify. They’re supposed to be doing a series for Netflix. And he has failed to do any of these things. And he’s supposed to be writing a book. He’s producing no content whatsoever,” Spencer said (via Cheat Sheet).
The comedian also mocked Meghan Markle’s husband by saying that the only content that he has is chatting with talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
“And that’s when he does his tell-alls, which are … tell-some. And they’re not that good. And then Meghan’s version of events, some recollections may vary. I don’t think Harry actually knows what he wants now that he’s been pulled out of the royal family because he’s not in opposition anymore,” she said.

Prince Harry’s Memoir May Not Be Delayed After All
This week, there has been so much talk surrounding the release of Prince Harry’s memoir after one insider claimed that it isn’t included in the list of books that will be released this fall. Since Prince Harry’s memoir isn’t included in the list then it’s unlikely for it to be available starting this year.
However, a rep for Transworld, which is part of Penguin Random House, told The Sun that not all books are included in the list. So, it’s still possible for Prince Harry’s memoir to be available this year.
Prince Harry’s Memoir Isn’t A Burn Book, Won’t Target Prince William, Camilla Parker Bowles
As of late, it’s also unclear what Prince Harry will talk about in his memoir. There are whispers that he will be targeting Prince William and Camilla Parker Bowles. However, Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie stressed that this wouldn’t be the case.
“Harry really is going out of his way to make sure that there isn’t material in there that can be seen as negative towards the queen or her reign in any way whatsoever. I think as much as the press wants this to be a burn book and an attack on the institution, this is more just about his story. I think for people expecting that warts-and-all moment, it’s not going to happen,” he said during an episode of Royally Obsessed.
