Prince Harry recently appeared in a video of one of the charities he has been supporting for years. A body language expert weighed in on his disposition following the drama caused by his memoir Spare.
Prince Harry Unfazed Over Criticisms Surrounding His Memoir Spare?
WellChild dropped a new video promoting its upcoming WellChild Awards. In the clip, Prince Harry, who has been a patron of the charity since 2007, spoke to the public, urging them to nominate the inspirational kids and caretakers who made a difference in their lives.
Body language expert Darren Stanton analyzed Harry's gestures in the video and said he was at peace.
"He is most definitely in a calm state of mind, looking directly at the camera, which tells me he feels at ease," Stanton said on behalf of Betfair Bingo (via Showbiz CheatSheet). "From this brief interaction, it does not appear that Harry is fazed over the criticism surrounding his book. He has quite clearly looked past the problems."
He noted that in the past when Prince William's brother got angry, his emotion got the best of him. It is visible when his lips and cheeks are flushed red. When he is stressed, he also blinks more and flashes anger.
In the clip, King Charles' youngest son appeared at peace with his life right now.
"Although he is a member of the royal family, he still possesses the same neurology and psychology as the rest of us. While he has shown clear emotions in the past, his baseline state in this clip is cool, calm and collected. He obviously feels very at peace in his life at the moment."
What Did Prince Harry Say In The WellChild Video?
The royal prince has been supporting the U.K. organization for nearly two decades already. In the video, he just encouraged the people to join the nominations for the 2023 WellChild Awards.
"For the past 15 years that I've been patron, I've been immensely grateful for the work that WellChild does and moved by the stories I hear and the people I meet," he said in the clip. "For children and young people with complex medical needs, WellChild provides high-quality care services and the opportunity to thrive at home alongside their families."
