Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made some obvious digs at Prince William in their Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan. The Duke of Sussex alleged that his brother shouted at him and betrayed him by allowing his comms team to attack him and Markle.
But despite everything that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said about Prince William, a PR expert is convinced that the dad of three would come out of it all relatively unscathed.
Prince William's Reputation Won't Be Destroyed By Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
According to Edward Coram James, Prince William's reputation cannot be tarnished by Prince Harry and Markle. After all, even if the Sussexes keep trying to throw punches at him and the royal family, no one is punching back.
So, the royal family and Prince William not responding to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's claims might have just lessened the potential damage caused by the couple.
"I don't think this will damage William. From a crisis communications point of view, I think the Sussexes have by and large managed to make themselves very unrelatable. And because they've managed to make themselves very unrelatable, the people they are accusing don't necessarily experience too much damage," he said (via Cheat Sheet).

Prince William's Reputation Will Only Be Damaged If He Responds To Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
James went on to say that the only time Prince Harry and Markle would be able to damage Prince William is if the latter decides to react to Harry & Meghan. After all, doing so will give the Sussexes' claims some kind of oxygen.
"I think what could be damaging is if William gives oxygen to it. So, if the royals start making lots of strenuous denials, people now associate silence with denial with the royal family and commenting as panicking," he said.
Prince William And Prince Harry Still Not On Talking Terms?
Even though Prince William did not directly respond to Prince Harry and Markle's allegations, royal author Katie Nicholl claimed that the dad of three feels betrayed by the couple.
"Well, I think that given the allegations that Harry has made in the latest three episodes of this docuseries are so personal towards his brother, I think it really does set back any chance of a rift for the foreseeable future. Even if William hasn't watched this docuseries, and it's my understanding that he hasn't, he will be very aware of the headlines. He will be very aware of the damage inflicted on his reputation, and I think it also goes a long way in explaining why the brothers are not on talking terms," she told Entertainment Tonight.
