Prince George made headlines this past weekend for attending his first Wimbledon with his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton. For the outing, the 8-year-old was photographed wearing a navy-blue suit and tie with matching navy-blue pants.

When Prince George arrived at the Wimbledon venue, it was obvious that he was a bit timid and shy. His parents introduced him to some athletes and officials, and he graciously shook their hands and chatted with them briefly.

But over time, it became evident that Prince George warmed up while watching the sport. In fact, he was photographed cheering and laughing during some key moments at Wimbledon.

Prince George Accused Of Misbehaving, Mistaken For Prince Louis

However, Prince William and Middleton’s eldest son also made headlines for an entirely questionable reason. BBC sports commentator Andrew Castle was accused of misbehaving at Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. However, royal fans are aware that it was Prince George’s brother, Prince Louis, who misbehaved at the time.

During his commentary, Castle said that Prince George had just been caught slightly misbehaving even when this wasn’t necessarily the case. Immediately after making his comments, royal fans slammed Castle and defended Prince George. They also stressed that Prince Louis was the one who misbehaved at the queen’s Platinum Jubilee and not Prince George.

In fact, Prince George and Princess Charlotte seemed very mature during their previous outing. They were also photographed looking as calm as ever during the key events. Prince Louis, on the other hand, struggled to stay still.

Prince George Covered His Head After Hearing Nick Kyrgios’ Foul Language

Meanwhile, Prince George also made headlines for another controversial incident that happened at Wimbledon. As the only kid at the sports event, eagle-eyed royal fans were convinced that the 8-year-old covered his head with his hands after hearing Nick Kyrgios’ foul language.

Kyrgios lost the final to Novak Djokovic, and he was obviously upset when he made some rude comments on air. Immediately after, Prince George was spotted covering his head and making a face.

The athlete was also heard urging the umpire to kick out a woman who was sitting in the front row because she reportedly looked drunk.

“It shouldn’t be coming down to your opinion. It’s distracting me when I am serving in a Wimbledon final. There’s no other bigger occasion, you didn’t believe me and she did it again and it nearly cost me the game. Why is she still here?! She is drunk out of her mind in the first row speaking to me in the middle of the game. What is acceptable? Keep her out. I know exactly which one it is, it’s the one who looks like she has had about 700 drinks, bro,” he said (via Express).

Kyrgios also received a warning after making some obscene comments midway through the third set. And Castle apologized on his behalf and stressed that it’s a live sport. Coincidentally, both men were involved in the controversies surrounding Prince George at Wimbledon.
