All eyes are on Prince Charles lately as Queen Elizabeth tries to slow down from doing her royal duties. The husband of Camilla Parker-Bowles, as a matter of fact, has been attending royal engagements on Her Majesty's behalf while the latter continues to focus on her health due to her doctors' advice.

A royal expert suggested that Prince Charles has his eyes on firmly fixing "hangers-on" at the palace once he finally takes over Queen Elizabeth's reign. The Prince of Wales reportedly has long-term plans of trimming down the monarchy, which could serve as a warning after recent high-profile scandals.

Most, if not all, royal followers are aware that the Firm has undergone huge changes, which include the shocking departure of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in January 2020. Not only that because Prince Andrew, who is unlikely to return to public life, was also forced to step back from his royal duties amid the s*xual assault and battery allegations by Virginia Giuffre.
However, speculations are rife that these changes are just the start of big changes ahead for the royal family. Analyst Jonathan Sacerdoti told Mirror that things are about to become very modern in the Firm.
The royal expert stated:
"I think when Charles takes to the throne we will see the emphasis put on those who commands absolute respect. The demands of responsibility and certain behaviors that are needed will be at the forefront - simply, you must be totally reliable."
Jonathan Sacerdoti furthered:
"It is well known that Charles wants to stamp his mark and in modern times, don't be surprised to see changes made."
He added that it would be a "very handy way" to answer to recent controversies such as the Prince Andrew scandal and Prince Harry's attacks on the royal family. Jonathan added:
"The core will be there, and Prince George will join in time - I think that is clear. But it’s always been speculated that Charles, when he eventually takes over, will want to slim down the working royals at the heart of the family. It will be about commanding respect. I think he is looking forward to being King."

The senior members of the royal family are said to be very aware of the requirement to prove their worth and Prince Harry is very much likely to make these decisions once he takes the throne.
Talking at The Telegraph's Royal Insight podcast, royal expert Camilla Tominey said:
"There's a sense that he wants a slimmed-down monarchy to make sure that everybody is doing their bit and [there are] no so-called hangers-on."
She went on to say that:
“We’ve had this model that the Queen has been at the head of for all of this time, because she’s obviously been on the throne for nearly seven decades. That means by association that you’re going to have fewer royals taking on fewer patronages, and then what does that mean for the charities?”
Prince Charles has yet to comment on Jonathan Sacerdoti and Camilla Tominey's statements.
Prince Charles Caught Making Plan With Prince William And Kate Middleton
Meanwhile, a lip reader claimed Prince Charles divulged a future plan while talking to Kate Middleton before the start of the Commonwealth Day service on Tuesday. The ex-husband of the late Princess Diana had a chance to talk with Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge prior to the program proper.
A lip reader Jeremy Freeman told Mirror that Prince Charles and Kate Middleton appeared to be making some exciting future plans during their chat. He claimed the Prince of Wales told his daughter-in-law "we are going to pop in and see you all..."
The publication shared it appears the plans were made for after the return of Prince William and Kate Middleton from their week-long royal Caribbean tour later this month. If the Cambridge couple would keep the date in their diaries, there is a huge possibility that Prince Charles would be able to spend quality time with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
