Prince Andrew has been allegedly making secret visits to his mother to Windsor Castle every night. The Duke of York reportedly wanted to discuss the lawsuit settlement and his future role in the monarchy with the Queen.

Prince Andrew Has Been Making Secret Visits To Queen Elizabeth II Every Night?

According to a report from Daily Mail, Prince Andrew has been traveling from the Royal Lodge to Windsor Castle every single night. He travels the five-mile distance to hold meetings with his mother about the sexual assault lawsuit settlement and his role in the monarchy in the future.

Prince Andrew opts to make the visit at night to ensure that no one will see him.

"Andrew has been very careful and is trying to keep out of sight," sources said per Daily Mail.

"He knows there are photographers in the daytime and his best chance to avoid them is after dark. He knows he is meant to be keeping his head down and it's a short trip, but he is extremely contrite and apologised to the Queen for all the trouble he has caused her."

There are no clear details about the Queen's conversation with her favorite son. However, sources told the Sun that he was exploring life as a non-royal, probably in the United States. He may be seeking advice from his nephew Prince Harry.

Prince Andrew Was Very Sorry For Causing The Queen Trouble

The 62-year old Duke of York has reportedly apologized to the 95-year-old monarch. Prince Andrew reportedly didn't want to "cause his beloved mother so much anguish at her age and in her Platinum Jubilee year."

"He is just so grateful for her support and it's certainly true that the Queen has a soft spot for Andrew and regards him as her favourite son," the sources added.

He was also sorry to his two daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. He feared that his grandchildren will grow up hearing about the scandal.

"He has also said sorry to Beatrice and Eugenie and voiced his fears that their children would grow up hearing about the case," the tipster added.

Princess Beatrice shares 5-month-old daughter Sienna with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Princess Eugenie has a 1-year-old son, August, with husband Jack Brooksbank.

According to various sources, even if his legal battle is about to end, the disgraced royal is unlikely to resume his royal duties or get back the royal patronages and military affiliations that the Queen stripped off from him.
