Possible Look at a New Snowtrooper from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

We just recently got our first teaser for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and we can only get so much information from it before fans decide they want more. Thanks to some covers for upcoming books, we have a look at a new type of snowtrooper in TROS.

It basically looks like the snowtrooper that was introduced in The Force Awakens, but this time he has this cool-looking cape. We don't know if that denotes any kind of position for him, but he does feel a lot like a mix between a trooper and director Krennic from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

We don't know when the next promo material for The Rise of Skywalker will come out, but Lucasfilm is surely going to pace themselves to keep everyone hyped when the film comes out in December. If we learn anything from the release of Solo, Star Wars can come so close to franchise fatigue if they aren't careful about proper pacing.

For now, everyone is guessing the next big reveal is going to come out during SDCC 2019 in July. The Rise of Skywalker is already confirmed for a panel, and what are the odds we're going to be getting our first full trailer for the movie? Not to mention there's also a bunch of books and comics coming out to help build the hype as well.

Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it hits theaters Dec. 20.
