It's Rey vs. Kylo in New Cover for The Art of Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker

We don't know when Lucasfilm will release their next promo for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but Phil Szostak has shared the cover for his book chronicling the concept art for the movie. Check it out:

The book will be released as part of the Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Lucasfilm creative director of publishing Michael Siglain says, "The Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker publishing program is our biggest and boldest film tie-in program yet… We've got exceptionally talented authors, artists, and publishers creating content for fans of all ages."

Siglain continues:

"While these titles will include some hints and Easter eggs for the new film, the majority of these titles will feature all-new stories set following the events of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Our ‘Journey to' books and comics will star Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, and, of course, Leia, Chewie, the droids, and the First Order."

With us having no idea what comes after The Rise of Skywalker, I'm already excited to see what's in store for the book, probably rejected concept art and possible deleted scenes. It's rumored that the movies will be taking a break after the release of TROS, and it feels like it's going to be a long wait before we see what Rian Johnson and Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have in store.

Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it comes out Dec.20.
