Police University Goes Back On Track, Recovers From Slight Downfall Of Viewership Ratings

After experiencing a slight decline in its national viewership ratings, Police University is recovering and proving its popularity as a Monday-Tuesday aired Kdrama.

Police University is a KBS2 TV series set on a National Police University campus. The drama depicts the story of a passionate former detective, now a professor named Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun), who has 20 years of experience working on various crime divisions and cases.

Yoo Dong Man meets a genius hacker named Kang Sun Ho (Jung Jin-young), who becomes his student in the university and eventually cooperates to investigate a case together.

Joined by Oh Kang Hee (Krystal Jung), the drama will portray realistic conflicts and interactions between a university professor and his troublemaker students who wanted to pursue their dreams as police officers.

Police University National Viewership Ratings Goes Back On Track

Police University recovers from a slight downfall in its national viewership rating for episode 5, which was aired on August 23, 2021. Episode 5 recorded a national viewership rating of 6.9%. The rating is a 1.6% decrease from the 8.5% national viewership rating for episode 4.

Thankfully, Police University episode 6, released on August 24, 2021, regains a high rating of 8.3%. The recorded national viewership rating is a 1.4% rise from the ratings on episode 5.

After receiving 8.5% in Police University episode 4, this is the second time that the drama recorded above 8%.
