Police University is set on a National Police University campus where mystery and tension occur. The drama depicts the story of a passionate former detective, now a professor in the university, named Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun). He has 20 years of experience working on various crime divisions and cases until he had a difficult and complicated encounter with Kang Sun Ho (Jinyoung), a genius hacker who gets taken by the police for stealing money from an online gambling company.
Now ready to change his life for good, Kang Sun Ho becomes Yoo Dong Man's student in the National Police University, which further boosted attention from the viewers.

Police University Episode 4 Recap
Police University episode 4 sees Yoo Dong Man asking for Kang Sun Ho's help to track down the people responsible for the illegal gambling site through his hacking skills.
The suspicious events surrounding Yoo Dong Man made him suspicious that the person who ambushed his colleague Chul Jin is involved with the illegal gambling site.
On the other hand, Oh Kang Hee tolerates the rumors and mistreatment by fellow freshmen students when they found out about her mother getting abducted four times due to illegal gambling. Kang Sun Ho hacks into the university's online community to delete the video.
Kang Sun Ho finds his determination to be strong and physically fit so he can be capable of chasing down criminals. He convinces his closest friends No Bum Tae and Jo Joon Wook to join the Judo club while Oh Kang Hee applies to the PR club after withdrawing her application to the student council.
Being the passionate officer that he always is, Yoo Dong Man does a personal investigation to find out who ambushed his colleague Chul Jin. He visits every truck driver to find a lead. Kang Sun Ho went with him and they investigate together. They retrieve a copy of the black box recording from the truck on the site where the accident happened and found out the plate number of a car that followed Chul Jin.
However, Yoo Dong Man does not have any evidence to prove his claims and Kang Sun Ho realizes something huge which the professor has taught him unconsciously. Eager to be of great help to Yoo Dong Man, Kang Sun Ho decides to lend his helping hand.
